??FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS??
What is a Meet and Greet or Munch?
A meet and greet or munch is a event held in a public place usually in a restaurant setting where like minded individuals come together to meet and discuss a common subject matter in our case the subject of BDSM. Why do we call this event a "munch"? I am not sure but I think it has to do will the setting of restaurants and the act of eating or munching on your meal.
What should I wear to a meet and greet?
Meet and greets are held in public places like restaurants and bars, so be aware that it is in a public venue and that you must dress in an appropriate manner. However I am also not going to be the fashion police and tell you what to wear. If you feel comfortable wearing full out punk regalia and you do not mind being stared at or are at least used to it, feel free to do so, certainly nudity is not allowed in a restaurant.
How should I behave at a meet and greet?
In my opinion one should be open minded and as friendly as possible. Keep dicey conversatiom to a low volume so as not offend other customers in the restaurant whether they are adults or children. There should be no obvious scenes or playing at the venue like giving your partner a hard swat on the ass, or grabbing the crotch or breast, or pulling of hair. You can save that fun for our play party events.
Where and when are meet and greets held?
At this point our place for meet and greets changes monthly and the information can be found on the event page of this site or posted to our yahoo group calendar at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pepbuffalobdsm/ The meet and greets are usually held on the last Sunday of every month.
Why are meet and greets necessary for our group?
For a lack of a better reason the purpose for a meet and greet is to help screen potential new members for our group. It is sort of a safety barrier for us to screen out potentially harmful individuals from our group, be they religious zealots looking to disturb our efforts as a community or some other hateful individuals who look at our chosen lifestyle in a negative view point. It is also a safe and easy way for new people to come to a lifestyle event without having to risk your butt; you are in a public setting with no expectations to play at all. You can come out and meet us and see if we are the group you are looking for to become a member of. Of course, it is where present members can come together and catch up with each other and socialize.

However, I do wish to make a point that if you do come to a play party by yourself, no one is going to be required to play with you on any level or capacity. You can watch scenes, talk and socialize with our members, and eat the food items offered at the party. This is explained further on our play party rules page.
